Thank you to everyone who helped make our Citrus Sale and Wolfgang Candy Sale huge successes again this year!  Thank you for supporting our school!

Please remember that our fundraising events help keep tuition low.  Your participation in our fundraisers is essential.

Supporting Committees.

Development Committee

The purpose of this committee is to raise funds which will help in keeping tuition as low as possible for our families.  The Development Committee sponsors larger fundraising events that include community outreach.  This committee meets monthly year-round.  Please see the blue box below for our current fundraising events.  As always, your support is greatly appreciated!

The following committees and organizations provide much-needed support for the success of Harrisburg Catholic Elementary School, its students, faculty and staff.  In addition, parishioners from our three feeder parishes are some of our greatest supporters.

HARRISBURG CATHOLIC ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Fundraising

HCE has several items we collect as fundraisers throughout the year.  Please refer to this list during the year to be sure you're up to date on all fundraising events.

Giant A+ Program

Be sure to register your Giant Bonus Card, listing Harrisburg Catholic Elementary School as the recipient of school rewards.  This does NOT impact any gas or other bonus point rewards you may receive.  By registering your card, our school can receive 1% of your grocery purchase prices.  This is a simple way for HCE to earn funds and in the past few years, has been a tremendous success for us.

Campbell's Labels for Education

Please clip UPC symbol/points from Campbell's brand products, including Pepperidge Farm, Prego, Bic.

Box Tops for Education

Please clip Box Tops from products including General Mills cereals, Avery office products, Betty Crocker, Kleenex, Hefty and so many more.

Turkey Hill Moo Milk Caps

Look for specially marked Moo-Milk caps at Turkey Hill stores.

Juice Pouches

Please send empty, strawless juice pouches (any brand, including Minute Maid, Capri Sun, Target, Healthy Kids) to the school.  Collection bins are provided both school buildings.  In the past few years we have saved nearly 9,000 juice pouches from ending up in landfills, and at the same time, we have earned money for the school.

Tyson Chicken A+ Points

Collect A+ labels from participating Tyson frozen chicken products.

Empty Ink Jet Cartridges

Please recycle empty inkjet cartridges by placing them in the collection bins at school.  We are NOT able to accept toner cartridges.

Kellogg's Rewards

Please save the PRINTED CODE inside boxes from Kellogg's, Keeblers and other products displaying the Kellogg's Family Reward symbols.

School Board

The purpose of this group is to continue, maintain and manage the Harrisburg Catholic Elementary School in order to provide education in accordance with Catholic principles, to keep the physical structures of the school in proper working order, and to ensure that the school is conducted in accordance with the policies of the Harrisburg Diocese's Board of Education.  The school board consists of all pastors, two members of all sustaining parishes, the Executive Director and the Principal.  There is a possibility of four at-large members as well.  All meetings are open to the public; however, any non-members wishing to address the board must submit a written petition prior to being added to the agenda.  Only 10 minutes will be allotted for nonmember participation.
