HARRISBURG CATHOLIC ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Students at the Holy Family Campus enjoy the green space outside with several acres to run and play.
Students at our Cathedral Campus can enjoy field trips to the downtown area, including to the State Museum, the Whitaker Center, the Dauphin County Library System and the State Capitol.
Many of our students proudly participate as alter servers, both during Mass at school, and in their home parishes at weekend Masses.
Our students and faculty help the community by conducting food, clothing and monetary donation drives at different times during the school year. These drives benefit the less fortunate in our area. HCE has collected canned goods used to feed the homeless; clothing for the homeless; loose change in baby bottles for Morning Star services.
Students can participate in Student Council by running for office and winning election by their peers. Student Council, led by Mrs. Noll, provides leadership opportunities for Student Council members, as well as fun activities for all students throughout the school year.
Girls on the Run is a new program for Harrisburg Catholic Elementary, offering an opportunity to girls in grades 3 through 6 to participate in a wellness program. Through lessons and running or walking together, girls learn about health, fitness, self-esteem, and teamwork. This year's Girls on the Run finale will be Saturday, May 14 at Hersheypark, where they will participate in a 5K. Best of luck!
